Information only
Chancepedia is published by Shire Media Group for general education. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax, medical or psychological advice, and nothing is an offer, invitation or encouragement to gamble. Read our content as a general explanation, not as advice for your situation.
No gambling services
We do not operate, promote or link to any gambling service. We do not take bets, deposits or payments. Games and tools on this site use play money only. Play-money chips have no value and cannot be exchanged for anything. Results in a play-money game do not predict results in real gambling.
No guarantees of results
Gambling games and bets have a negative expected return for the player. No strategy, system, calculator or tip can guarantee a win or remove the house edge. Short-term results vary widely. You can lose money, including all the money you stake.
Accuracy
We take care to check what we publish and we show review dates and sources, but laws, rules, odds, payouts and helpline details change, and we cannot promise that every page is complete, current or free of error. Figures such as house edge depend on the rules of the specific game. Check the rules of the game you are playing and the law that applies to you.
Laws differ
Gambling is legal in some places, restricted in others and prohibited in others. The legal age also differs. It is your responsibility to know and follow the laws that apply where you live. Content on this site that describes the law of a country is a summary for information and may be out of date.
Help and support
Chancepedia is not a helpline or a treatment service. If gambling is affecting you or someone close to you, please use our Get help page, or contact a qualified professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
External links
Where we link to other websites, such as helplines and official sources, we do so for information. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.
Tools and calculators
Our tools show the result of the numbers you enter and the formula described on the page. They are provided as they are, and results may differ from real outcomes or from other sources. Do not rely on them for any financial decision.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shire Media Group and the Chancepedia editorial team are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. Nothing here limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.
